Every single day of this tour will bring a new adventure as we cross magnificent landscapes and places. This route is ideal for a bicycle tour as we discover the beauty of Georgia; we explore the country with all its authenticity in a special way, as well as visit ancient historical monuments and get acquainted with local traditions and lifestyle.

DAY 1: TBILISI

Arrival in Tbilisi

DAY 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gori – Akhaltsikhe

Visit the ancient capital of Georgia – Mtskheta and ride our bikes westward to the small villages. Visit stalin's birthday house in Gori. Continue to Akhaltsikhe. Overnight in Akhaltsikhe.
Total distance 230 km, by bike 25 km

DAY 3: Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia

Bike to the south through the magnificent landscapes and visit the cave-town Vardzia. There used to be about 3000 caves (50000 people can live there). Overnight in Vardzia.
Total distance by bike 60 km

DAY 4: Vardzia – Akhalkalaki

We ride to Akhalkalaki, where the majority of the population is Armenian. We will pass the most beautiful, steppe meadows. Overnight in Akhalkalaki. Total distance by bike 40 km

DAY 5: Akhalkalaki – Tsalka – Tbilisi

Transfer to Tsalka. From here we will ride to Tbilisi. On the way pass the lakes which are in harmony with steppe landscapes. Overnight in Tbilisi. Total distance 200 km, by bike 65 km

DAY 6: Tbilisi – Lake Sioni

First we drive to Jinvali water reservoir and then ride the bicycles to the sioni Lake. Amazing day trip! Overnight in sioni. Total distance 100 km, by bike 60 km

DAY 7: Lake Sioni – Gombori pass – Telavi

Today we take an extremely beautiful drive over Zagaro Pass (2623m) to Lower svaneti and its tiny town – Lentekhi. Our route continues to Kutaisi, where we'll have time to rest after a long drive today. Overnight in Kutaisi. Total length 170 km, driving time 8 hrs

DAY 8: Telavi – Sighnaghi – Tbilisi

We drive to the village of Bakurtsikhe and then bike up to the small town of sighnaghi, which is overlooking the vast Alazani Valley and Greater Caucasus mountains. We take a walk in this tiny romantic town and then return to Tbilisi. Two overnights in Tbilisi. Total distance 170 km, by bike 14 km.

DAY 9: Tbilisi

Tbilisi city tour
